Naturally North County: Parks near Silverleaf

One of the best parts of living in Southern California is the wonderful climate and abundant recreation. Near Silverleaf, there are wonderful parks to enjoy fresh air, sunshine, staying active or just relaxing. Brea Sports Park is a sprawling 20 acres and features ball fields, a walking trail, children’s play area and picnic area. Yorba Regional Park is a huge park with a series of four lakes and connected streams perfect for fishing, model boat sailing, or unwinding to the tranquil sounds of nature. There are more than 400 picnic tables scattered throughout the park. Enjoy riding on the bike trails. They connect to the popular Santa Ana River trail. There also have volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, two ball diamonds, a physical fitness course, and some 200 barbecues. Carbon Canyon Regional Park in Brea is 124-acres and has lighted tennis courts, picnic spots, a 4-acre lake, and trail for walking/jogging/riding bicycles.
